Tour itinerary

Day 1

Tehran, The Museum of National Treasures, Golestan palace, Grand bazaar

We arrive in Tehran, check into a hotel and go out for a walk. We begin in the Museum of National Treasures located in the underground of the Central Bank of Iran. Imagine all the treasures and jewels that the Persian kings collected over centuries - in one place! It is a dazzling spectacle! Let us only mention the precious globe, which is covered with 51,366 gems with a total weight of almost 4 kilograms! And how about rare huge diamonds, golden thrones, weapons and other splendor?

We head to the last palace of the Persian kings - Golestan. Let`s feel like nobility walking in the marble throne room, the diamond room, the mirror room, a collection of luxurious clothes, unusual dishes and plunge into the life of the monarchs of Persia.

After lunch, we walk around the Grand Bazaar - the country's main bazaar and the historical center of Tehran. The main thing here is not to get lost and look under your feet, still having time to look around.

Day 2

Azadi Square, Milad tower

In the morning we go to watch modern symbols of Iran. Let's start with the Freedom Tower in Azadi Square. This unusual monument was built by order of the last Shah of Iran - Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in honor of the 2500th anniversary of the Persian Empire. Ironically, it was here that the history of this empire ended, when in 1979 hundreds of thousands of Iranians came to the square to overthrow the power of the Shah.

We rise to the observation deck of Milad tower - the sixth tallest tower in the world. We will look at the city from a height and try to recognize areas that we have already visited.

After lunch we leave for the town of Kashan (3 hours on the way) where we check into a hotel.

Day 3-4

Kashan, Old bazaar, Abyaneh village, Ancient fort

We explore the old quarters, walking into the luxurious houses of the nobility. Observant travelers immediately wonder why there are two different door knockers hanging at each door? The answer is simple - one knocker is for female guests, the other for men. They make different sounds, so the owners of the house know which of them - a man or a woman must open the door. We walk around the bazaar, admiring the high ceilings with stucco moldings, decorated with ceramics, glass and paintings.

In the morning we head to the Abyane village in the mountains (2 hours on the way). Welcome to Iran as it was thousands of years ago. We will walk along narrow winding streets between red brick houses and see old houses, small mosques and workshops. Outside the city, a slope rises, dotted with traditional storerooms. Here Abyane residents used to keep cattle and agricultural utensils. Some storerooms are now open. At the top of the hill, the walls of an ancient fortress have been preserved. It’s an amazing feeling to sit among the grasses by these walls, watching the evening lights go on in the village below ...

After lunch we leave for the old capital of the country - the city of Isfahan (approximately 3 hours on the way). We arrive in the evening and check into a hotel.
