Tour itinerary

Day 1

The capital Quito, Cable car, Pichincha volcano, Traditional restaurant

We arrive in Quito, check into a guesthouse and head to the TeleferiQo cable car. We are at the top of the active volcano Pichincha 3945 meters above sea level! The second highest capital in the world, Quito, located at an altitude of 2850 meters, is right under feet. What an unforgettable experience.

It's time to enjoy local cuisine. We will try dishes from potatoes, corn and cassava roots, fried green bananas, and different types of grilled meats. The most unusual is guinea pig meat, which is called Kui.

Day 2

Santa Cruz island, Charles Darwin Research Station, Sea lions, Giant turtles, Iguanas

In the morning we go to the airport and fly to the Galapagos Islands. We check into a hotel in the town of Puerto Ayora on the island of Santa Cruz. This is where the Charles Darwin Research Station is located. We will definitely visit it to learn more about how exactly on these islands Darwin came up with the idea of the origin of species.

Let`s explore the island to get a closer look at wild giant turtles, iguanas, fur seals and pink flamingos. These wild animals are so close you could touch them!

Day 3

Tortuga Bay beach, Iguans, Pelicans, Lava tunnel, Snorkeling, Iguanas

After breakfast we drive to Tortuga Bay beach. The white sand merges with the blue sky and ocean. What a view! Swimming is prohibited here, because rare animals live on the beach - marine iguanas, Galapagos crabs, brown pelicans and huge Galapagos turtles. Those who wish can swim with a mask and a snorkel in specially designated areas.

After lunch we will explore the island by rented transport. We will definitely see the so-called lava tubes, or lava tunnels. Just a few thousand years ago, this huge tunnel was a wave of fire erupting from the crater of a volcano!
