Tour itinerary

Day 1-2

Lima, Colonial architecture, Huaca Pucllana pytamid

We arrive in Lima and check into a hotel. Ready to begin our group trip to Peru? After a short rest, let`s head to the historical center - the Plaza Mayor square. From here, in 1535, the Spanish colonialists began to build this city, and a little had changed since then. The grandiose Lima Cathedral still rests against the sky with its arches. And the birds are circling over the Palace of the Archbishop and the City Hall.

Next, we find ourselves in the modern Miraflores district which boasts expensive hotels and posh restaurants. Suddenly we stumble upon an island of antiquity - Huaca Pucllana, the pyramid of the Incas. Built almost two thousand years ago from clay bricks, which archaeologists continue to dig up...

The next day we go to the bohemian area of Barranca. Let`s explore the colorful streets, observe local life and head to the beach. Here they are - the endless expanses of the Pacific Ocean!

Day 3

Cusco, Mora terraces , Maras salt terraces

In the morning we go to the airport and fly to Cusco - the capital of the Incas, 3400 meters above sea level. We check into a hotel, walk along cobbled streets, admiring colonian Spanish houses with unusual balconies.

A rented transport takes us to the Mora terraces (1 hour on the way). Scientists believe that these terraces, which resemble antique amphitheaters, were used for growing vegetables during Inca times. The lower terrace is 15 degreees cooler than the upper one!

Next, we head to the Maras salt terraces. Here the Incas created a system of salt evaporation from an underground stream. Locals continue their traditions - each Maras family owns its own salt section. In the evening we return to Cusco (1 hour on the way).
