Tour itinerary

Day 1

Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer statue, Lapa district

We arrive in Rio de Janeiro where we begin our group trip to Brazil. We check into a hotel near the city's famous beaches. During our stay in Rio we will have the time to relax on these beaches and watch the locals every day! On our first day we will see the symbol of the city - the statue of Christ the Redeemer. This world-famous landmark was completed in 1931 and since then it became the symbol not only of the city but of the entire nation.

The view from the observation deck is amazing, especially during sunset. Green hills, golden beaches washed by the blue ocean, and forests of skyscrapers along the sea... And the sky! Even avid travelers claim that the sky in Rio is probably the bluest in the world.

After lunch we take a walk to the Lapa district, known for samba evenings and the popular Brazilian bossa nova music. Let's dance to the fiery rhythms with the locals.

Day 2-3

Pan de Azúcar mountain, Walk in favelas, Ilha Grande island

The famous cable car will take us to the top of the Pan de Azúcar mountain. The hundreds of islands of the Guanabara Bay and the endless ocean - the entire world is at our feet! After lunch we head to the local slums, known as favelas. We will explore the spots never visited by tourists and see real life of cariocas, the people of Rio.

In the evening we head to the famous restaurant to try all the best Brazilian dishes. Have not we promised that this guided tour to Brazil will be delicious? For example, we will try feijoada made of beans, meat and cassava flour, which is served in a clay pot with orange slices, cabbage and pepper sauce. Yum.

The next day we will spend on the ocean shore. You may take a walk along the Rio's famous beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon.

For those who wish we may organize a trip to the beautiful island of Ilha Grande. The Brazilian government allowed tourists to land on the island only in 1994 when they closed the local prison. We will be enjoying the beaches and the sea in this tropical paradise for an entire day.

Day 4-5

Iguazu waterfalls, bird park, Itaipu dam

We continue our guided tour to Brazil and take the morning flight to Foz do Iguaçu. After checking into a hotel we head to one of the world's largest birds park.Toucans with funny yellow beaks, blue-yellow macaws, crested kariam, red ibis, pink flamingos - we will see all these exotic birs, with almost all of them flying freely around us.

We head to the Iguazu Falls, the world's largest waterfall system of 275 waterfalls. Noise and rumble of the water, foam - we will feel the full power of the water element.

But to get closer to the biggest fall, known as the Devil's Throat we will have to cross the border with Argentina next morning. After enjoying the views let`s explore the jungle and head to neighboring Paraguay where we will visit the second largest hydropower station in the world, Itaipu dam.
