We begin in in the colorful Marrakech, and then move to the hottest desert in the world - the Sahara! Here we will visit the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, ride camels caravan style, and spend the night in the Berber camp. Then we move to the picturesque coast of the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying the beaches of Legzira and Agadir. And finally, arrive in the famous ancient city of Essaouira.

  • Day 1
    Arrival in Marrakesh, checking into a hotel. Exploring Marrakech - the old city, the Koutoubia mosque and Ben Youssef Madrasa - the university from the times of Arab caliphs.
  • Day 2
    Morning departure on a rented vehicle to the Sahara. On the way, we’ll go over the mountain pass Tizi n'Tichka and, from a height of 2,260 metres, look at the Atlas Mountains. Visit to Ait-Ben-Haddou, an ancient ksar (fortified city), transfer to the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs with Berber fortresses. In the evening, we’ll arrive at a riad-hotel in the Dades Valley.
  • Day 3
    Morning departure to the Todra Gorge. We’ll drive through the rocky spurs of the Atlas mountains with picturesque views. (7-8 hours). Arrival at Merzouga in the Great Sahara. Staying for the night in a Berber camp in the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi.
  • Day 4
    We wake up early to see the sunrise in the desert. Then we’re going through the desert on a camel caravan and may also try sandboarding on the dunes. By lunchtime, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, nicknamed The door of the desert, and known for its fortified center and the largest film studio in the world. We will also visit villages, where the best dates in the country are grown. We head to Marrakech where we checking into riad.
  • Day 5
    We will visit the Bahia Palace, known for its unique mosaics. We will also escape the heat in the beautiful Majorelle Garden, owned by Yves Saint Laurent and explore the main square of Jemaa el-Fnaa.
  • Day 6
    Trip to Agadir (3 hours on the way), one of the most beautiful resorts of Morocco in the foothills of the Antiatlas. We will check into a villa near the ocean. Dinner on the veranda with homemade Moroccan food and amazing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Day 7
    Day of surfing and rest on the beach. We might also take short trips to the beaches of Tamraght. Those who wish may walk to the Devil's Rock and watch sunset at the "mirror" beaches. Dinner on the veranda of the villa.
  • Day 8
    Morning trip to the Paradise valley (2 hours on the way). We will walk along the gorge and swim in natural pools. Return and dinner at the villa.
  • Day 9
    A trip to the red beaches of Legzira (3.5 hours on the way). We will walk along the ocean beach with unique natural arches. On the way back, we may drive up to the mountain, from which you can see the night Agadir.
  • Day 10
    Morning trip to Essaouira (about 3 hours). Visiting the Portuguese fortress and the port of blue boats, lunch at the local fish market. Check-in at riad. Walk in the old part of the city and watching the sunset from the fortress walls over the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Day 11
    We head to Marrakech (2.5 hours on the way), check into a traditional house - riad. Evening walk through the district of modern architecture - Gueliz.
  • Day 12
    Free day. Those interested can take a trip to the Ourika waterfalls. Flight back home.

Is this trip for you?

This trip is of light physical grade. We will take an 1.5-hour trip across the desert on camels and take simple walks, lasting for several hours. This trip is suitable for people in normal health condition. We will be riding comfortable rented vehicles, as well as public buses for up to 6 hours. Accommodation in double/twin (sometimes triple) rooms, mostly, in traditional Moroccan houses. Almost all will have wi fi internet. In the Sahara desert, one night is planned in the tents of Berbers.

The price of the trip includes:
