  • Day 1
    We arrive in Casablanca, and checking into a hotel in the center. After some rest we take a walk to the biggest mosque of the country - the Hassan II Mosque. It is the largest mosque in Africa, and the 5th largest in the world.
  • Day 2
    Early in the morning we take a train to the ancient capital, Meknes (3.5 hours on the way). In a few hours we will see the "Moroccan Versailles" with its Medina and the largest mosaic gates with towers. Then, on rented transport, we leave for Volubilis (1.5 hours), where we will examine the remains of Roman settlements, temples and mausoleums. Transfer to the city of Fez (1.5-2 hours), checking into a traditional hotel-riad.
  • Day 3
    We will see the city of craftsmen in the old center and visit the district of traditional leather painters. After lunch, we go to the town of Chefchaouen, known as the "blue city" (4 hours on the road) and we check into a hotel.
  • Day 4
    In the morning we will make a simple walk in the Reef Mountains, to the Bridge of God and the Cascades d'Akchour (4 to 6 hours). Upon our return, we will visit the city's observation platform.
  • Day 5
    Morning walk through the streets of the town. Crossing the mountains to the Atlantic Ocean in the coastal town of Asilah (3 hours on the way). Checking into the hotel.
  • Day 6
    Explore the town with its Portuguese fortress, lighthouse, steep walls of fortifications and wide beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Day 7
    Early in the morning, we take the train to Marrakech via Casablanca (4.5 hours). On the way, we will have a stop in Casablanca for lunch. Arrival in Marrakech, checking into the hotel. Walk to the square of Jamaa el Fna.
  • Day 8
    Visit to the Bahia Palace, known for its unique mosaics. We will also escape the heat in the beautiful Majorelle Garden, owned by Yves Saint Laurent. We might also visit the Saadian Tombs, the shrines of Morocco rulers’ dynasty, or the Secret Garden.
  • Day 9
    Morning departure on a rented vehicle to the Sahara. On the way, we’ll go over the mountain pass Tizi n'Tichka and, from a height of 2,260 metres, look at the Atlas Mountains. Visit to Ait-Ben-Haddou, an ancient ksar (fortified city), transfer to the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs with Berber fortresses. In the evening, we’ll arrive at a riad-hotel in the Dades Valley.
  • Day 10
    Morning departure to the Todra Gorge. We’ll drive through the rocky spurs of the Atlas mountains with picturesque views. (7-8 hours). Arrival at Merzouga in the Great Sahara. Staying for the night in a Berber camp in the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi.
  • Day 11
    We wake up early to see the sunrise in the desert. Then we’re going through the desert on a camel caravan and may also try sandboarding on the dunes. By lunchtime, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, nicknamed The door of the desert, and known for its fortified center and the largest film studio in the world. We will also visit villages, where the best dates in the country are grown. We head to Marrakech where we checking into riad.
  • Day 12
    Visit to the Bahia Palace, known for its unique mosaics. We will also escape the heat in the beautiful Majorelle Garden, owned by Yves Saint Laurent. We might also visit the Saadian Tombs, the shrines of Morocco rulers’ dynasty, or the Secret Garden.
  • Day 13
    Trip to Agadir (3 hours on the way), one of the most beautiful resorts of Morocco in the foothills of the Antiatlas. We will check into a villa near the ocean. Dinner on the veranda with homemade Moroccan food and amazing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Day 14
    Day of surfing and rest on the beach. We might also take short trips to the beaches of Tamraght. Those who wish may walk to the Devil's Rock and watch sunset at the "mirror" beaches. Dinner on the veranda of the villa.
  • Day 15
    Morning trip to the Paradise valley (2 hours on the way). We will walk along the gorge and swim in natural pools. Return and dinner at the villa.
  • Day 16
    A trip to the red beaches of Legzira (3.5 hours on the way). We will walk along the ocean beach with unique natural arches. On the way back, we may drive up to the mountain, from which you can see the night Agadir.
  • Day 17
    Morning trip to Essaouira (about 3 hours). Visiting the Portuguese fortress and the port of blue boats, lunch at the local fish market. Check-in at riad. Walk in the old part of the city and watching the sunset from the fortress walls over the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Day 18
    We head to Marrakech (2.5 hours on the way), check into a traditional house - riad. Evening walk through the district of modern architecture - Gueliz.
  • Day 19
    Those interested can take a trip to the Ourika waterfalls or visit the The Saadian tombs. Flight back home.

Is this trip for you?

This trip is of light physical grade. We will take an 1.5-hour trip across the desert on camels and take simple walks, lasting for several hours. This trip is suitable for people in normal health condition. We will be riding comfortable rented vehicles, as well as public buses for up to 6 hours. Accommodation in double/twin (sometimes triple) rooms in traditional Moroccan houses. Almost all will have wi fi internet. In the Sahara desert, one night is planned in the tents of Berbers.

The price of the trip includes:
