This trip is a unique opportunity to visit Asian tigers - countries, where stunning nature and rich history meet modernity and mouthwatering food. We will see the best of bustling Hong Kong, enjoy futuristic Singapore, explore giant caves in Malaysian part of Borneo island, enjoy marine life in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. We will also visit exotic Brunei, with its largest water village in the world. Expect wonderful warm sea, architectural treasures, gardens and a variety of mind blowing Asian food.

Is this trip for you?

This trip is dynamic, of below average difficulty. It consists of city walks, easy trails in national parks and visiting islands. The trip involves three short flights, several short bus rides of up to 6 hours and one 14 hours long night bus which might be replaced with a short flight. We will also have one short ferry trip and move around in speedboats twice. Accommodation will be provided in double/twin (sometimes triple and more) rooms of simple hotels and guesthouses, all of them will have hot water and wifi internet.

Price of the trip includes:

  • All internal flights (Hong Kong – Singapore, Singapore – Kuching, Kota Kinabalu – Hong Kong, and Kuching- Miri (if the bus ride will be changed to a flight);
  • Accommodation in simple hotels and guesthouses during the entire trip;
  • All transportation including buses, ferries, speedboats, rented vehicles for the group and public transportation;
  • Professional guiding services.

To be paid separately:

  • Flight to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong back home;
  • Entrance fees to museums, parks, ropeways and other attractions ($150);
  • Food ($15-20 per person per day in Hong Kong, Singapore and Brunei, $10 in Malaysia).
  • Visas.

Tour itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Hong Kong, checking into a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui district.

Day 2-4

During three days in Hong Kong we will visit Lantau island with its Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, Giant Buddha Statue, beaches and authentic Tai O fishing village. We will spend some time on Hong Kong island - take funicular to the famous Victoria Peak, visit Hong Kong Park, Saint John’s Cathedral, and the famous Cat street. On the continental part of Hong Kong we will explore Kowloon walled city park and visit holy sites like Wong Tai Sin temple, Nan Lian garden and Chi Lin Nunnery. In between sightseeing we will enjoy the best food that Hong Kong is famous for. At the end of our stay we will fly to Singapore and check into a hotel in Geylang district.

Day 5-7

During our three days in Singapore we will visit Chinatown with its temples and unforgettable dining experience. We will also see the city from the top of the famous Marina bay sands hotel, visit man-made futuristic Gardens by the bay and Botanical gardens. Having explored the city-state, we will fly to Kuching, the capital of Malaysia’s Sarawak province on Borneo island and check into a riverfront hotel.
