This trip is of average physical grade. It includes walks in cities and nature, long (up to 8-9 hours) day and night trips by comfortable buses, trips by public and rented transport, crossing between the Galapagos islands. We will also take three domestic flights and one international flight Quito - Lima. The trip also includes a short walk for 4 hours in one direction at a height of about 1,000 meters, which may be difficult for people who are prone to an altitude sickness. The trip involves changes in climatic conditions and heights - from about 0 to 5,000 m above sea level. Accommodation in tourist class hotels and guesthouses. In the jungle we will stay in a bungalow with basic conditions without wi-fi. One night is planned in the Kolka canyon without hot water and, possibly, electricity. 

The price of the trip includes:

  • Accommodation in hotels, guesthouses, bungalows throughout the trip;
  • All domestic flights;
  • Flight Quito - Lima; 
  • All transportation, including buses, trains, leased and public transport, motor boats and crossings between the islands of Santa Cruz and Isabel; 
  • Entry tickets to all places of interest mentioned in the itinerary;
  • Migration card to the Galapagos Islands; 
  • Rent of bicycles, kayaks, buggy;
  • Rafting;
  • Three meals a day during our stay in the Amazon forests;
  • Professional guiding services.

To be paid separately:

  • Flight to Quito and back home from Lima; 
  • Medical insurance (mandatory);
  • Visas;
  • Food ($15-25 per day); 
  • Rental of equipment for snorkelling ($15 per day);
  • Additional diving ($200).

Tour itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Quito. Checking into a hotel. We explore the city, sample local cuisine.

Day 2

Morning departure to the Galapagos Islands, known for the unique combination of flora and fauna of the tropical and Antarctic belts. Checking into a hotel in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Visiting Charles Darwin Research Station, walk around the island. We will meet giant turtles, iguanas, seals and, possibly, even pink flamingos.

Day 3

Morning departure to one of the best beaches of the Galapagos Islands, Tortuga Bay, those interested can snorkel. After dinner, we explore the island on a rented transport.
